Orlando Part 2

Hey guys, so this is my final installment of my holiday for you
Originally the reason we decided to go to Orlando is that i'm a massive Harry Potter fan and the Wizarding World had opened up. It was such a magical area of the park. The main ride was called Forbidden Journey and it was probably the best ride i've ever been on, it had soo much detail, even the queue was an experience in itself.

Anyway enough rambling, heres some pictures for you all

Hope you enjoyed my travel posts and i'll mostly likely do more in future xx

Orlando Part 1

Ok so, before/if you decide to book, you should be aware there is ALOT to do, it was only after we booked our flights (for 10 days) that i realised we wouldn't be able to fit everything in,

Things to be aware of:

  • Disney has 4 theme parks and 2 waterparks, they also have a shopping area; Downtown Disney and a Golf course, Disney have their own on-site transportation system including a monorail, buses and  boats for free so you can get from A to B.
  • Universal Studios has 2 parks right next to each other.
  • The theme parks aren't just about rides, they also have shows, for when you just wanna sit down ;) and most importantly lots of food and shopping
  • International Drive is a big tourist road where if your not staying in a villa or on-site then you are most likely staying in a hotel off here. Loads of tacky touristy shops and food places like TGI Fridays, Walgreens supermarket.  There is also a Ripleys Believe it or not and a Titanic museum amongst other things
  • Most places are relatively easy to get to, we only figured out the buses on the last few days, there are 2 main company's Lynx and the Iride trolley. I think you can get 2 week passes for around $10 each
  • Cabs add up to alot of money so i would research the bus routes, it will save you alot
  • Most hotels provide a daily pick up and drop off to the theme parks, so bare this in mind when searching for one
  • There are 2 Outlet Malls at either end of International Drive, then there is Florida Mall which has Hollister, Abercrombie and Sephora and the more expensive Mall at Millenia which houses stores such as Juicy Couture and Louis Vuitton, there are other Malls but these are the main ones and the only ones we went to
  • Hotels are pretty cheap compared to say New York, we bagged our room for $50 a night, which included free WI-FI, microwave, tv, fridge and a lovely view of Hogwarts ;)
  • Park tickets seem to go up in price every year in August, so bare that in mind.  You can get a 2 week pass for all Disney Parks for around £250 and Universal is around £82 for 2 weeks also.  We bought ours in advance from a UK website, so search around.
  • We ordered pre-pay doller card from FairFX. We got the best rate and we could top up online when we ran out of money

Lastly i'll round up with a, please make sure you have enough money, this was my first big holiday away and i underestimated how much i needed and had to borrow from my BF which i still owe him now, eek!! haha
But seriously it's such an amazing place and if you've ever been or decide to go you'll have such an amazing time

Coming up in Part 2, pictures

The Most Magical Place on Earth

It's Raining it's pouring...

Hi guys,
Didn't really do much this weekend, how much is the weather sucking right now!?!!!! managed to go to the new Disney Store on Oxford street, made me feel abit sad being there as it reminded me of being back at Disney World :(
Got a room fragrance that smelt like my jelly belly candle, i'll edit this post and add a pic later, the bottles soo cute and it's got Bambi on.

My bf took me for Nando's today (which isn't really helping my diet) ha and bought me a Gremlins t shirt <3

I'll leave you with a few pics of us from our holiday last year xxx

NOTD 1

This is probably the prettiest nail varnish i own, and the only O.P.I one too.  It's part of the Alice in Wonderland range that came out a year ago?
Called 'Thanks So Muchness'
The picture really doesn't do it justice, but it has a lovely shimmer to it
I actually purchased this in Disney World last year for $10 compared to £10 :)

I'm loving the new Pirates of the Caribbean range, may have to invest at some point, they look so pretty

Mini superdrug/primark haul

To tide me in slowly to this blogging malarkey - wow i think that's the first time I've used the word malarkey, ugly word! Anyway I had to take a trip to the post office today and stopped by Primark and Superdrug for a few bits.

First up, Primark; Funnily enough i bought 3 things from here today and they're all mens stuff, i guess i'm a man at heart or something

Basically i'm a massive Disney fan, even more so last year when i went to Disney World, yehhh!! My BF bought this t shirt the other day and i decided to be a copycat mwahahaha only £6 as well, they had a Gremlins one which i wanted but i decided not to get, I've realised all my home clothes i.e comfy clothes i wear around the house are really scraggy and gross now so need to invest in a few track pants and the like.

How geeky are the socks hehe saw them for £1 each and couldn't resisted i forgot to take a picture of the bottom of the Turtle ones but they say 'Heroes in a half shell'

In Superdrug all i bought was shampoo, Head and Shoulders is really the only thing that works on the frizzy hair, I love the new formula which they brought out last year i think, Leaves my hair alot softer, Oh and Superdrug are currently doing x2 Head and Shoulders at £5.99 compared to £4something each!
The smaller bottle is Superdrugs Colour Radiance Intensive Conditioner for Brunettes. It was 20p and my hair is black! But what ever! ha

Superdrug are now also doing a points scheme like Boots and the card doubles up as a mirror! pretty cool,
